Overview of markup to specify units of measurement

Many stylesheet features require you to set a unit of measurement representing a distance on a printed page or web page. Examples include setting margins or specifying vertical space after headings. The standard units of measurement used in the stylesheets are represented by two-letter abbreviations:
Note: You do not need to use a unit of measurement when you specify point sizes for fonts. You only need to type in the number wherever it is relevant in the print stylesheets.
When specifying units in stylesheet features, do not put any space between the value and the unit of measurement. Examples are:

2.1in
